Soft Fragments is an upholstered chair inspired by fragments of stone and discarded upholstered furniture found on the streets of New York. Its a study in free-form upholstery, as well as a study in design narrative and how individual pieces of furniture allude to design history, a body of work, or a genre of similar objects.
